Programs and Facilities

Infants

In our nursery we care for children from 6 weeks to 12 months. Two teachers work together to provide care for 8 babies. The nursery teachers have completed safe sleep training and have been infant and child CPR certified. Because the first year of a child’s life is a time of critical development, our teachers give individual attention to promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development based on each child’s needs. We go beyond meeting children’s’ health and safety needs to develop strong nurturing bonds with each one.

Toddlers

The children in the toddler classroom range from 12 to 18 months of age. With this age group, 2 teachers care for 8 children. As toddlers learn to walk and talk, their curiosity drives them to explore. We provide each toddler with the freedom they need for developing their independence while providing the structure and security to keep them feeling safe and nurtured.

Toddler-Twos

Our toddler twos class is for children 18 months to 24 months of age. Two teachers care for 8 bright eyed and curious children. Because children learn by doing each toddler’s gifts and interests are encouraged to grow in a nurturing environment with a focus on developing communication skills.

Twos

The two year old classroom has 12 children and 2 teachers. Two year olds are discovering more and more each day. In this classroom there is a strong focus on social development through group play where children will make friends, learn cooperation, and the art of taking turns.  Children are able to explore, learn, and play together in various learning centers as they continue to develop language, physical, emotional, and social skills.

Threes

In our three year old classroom, 2 teachers care for 16 children. These children are experts at the “work” of play. Storytelling, dramatic play, block building, making music and art, and dancing enhance the children’s physical, language, social, and emotional development.

Pre-K

Our pre-k classroom is developed to prepare 4 and 5 year old children for all aspects of kindergarten. In this classroom, 2 educators teach 20 children. We provide large and small group activities as well as a wide range of free choice activities. Our curriculum is based on the many aspects of a child’s development, as our focus is on the whole child.
