The mission of Cedar Bluff Play School is to provide a safe, supportive place for children to learn, have fun and be loved. We endeavor for every day to be exciting and filled with happy voices, welcome greetings, warm hugs, and loving relationships. Our goal is to create an environment that will have longevity in the community and have a positive influence on the lives of those who pass through our doors long after they leave our care.

We Know How to Make Learning Fun For Kids

Cedar Bluff Play School is a child care center that provides infant, toddler and pre-school care on a full-time, part-time and half day basis. We are a pre-school learning center providing education for the children with a prepared curriculum as a basis for our instruction. It is the purpose of our center to provide education and a safe, loving environment for the children in our care. We are as flexible as possible and meet the individual needs of our families in a professional and caring manner.

Stacie Tice

Stacie Tice

Director

Stacie Tice has been the director of Cedar Bluff Play School for 12 years. She has also been an elementary school teacher. Stacie has a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Belmont University. She has completed the administrative orientation from the Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance. Stacie and her husband have a teenage son. She is committed to training and supporting teachers to provide the best care possible.
Chicara Goins

Chicara Goins

Assistant Director

Chicara Goins has been employed at Cedar Bluff Play School for 12 years. She has experience working with children from infants to school age. She has completed the Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance’s infant and toddler as well as center based orientation. Chicara is working towards an Associate’s degree in early childhood education. She is the proud mother of two beautiful children and takes pride in getting to know each child and family personally and providing exceptional individualized care.
Brittany Webb

Brittany Webb

Communication Director

Brittany Webb has 15 years experience caring for children, and has been a Cedar Bluff Play School employee for 10 years. She has obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in human services specializing in child development from East Tennessee State University. Brittany has also completed the Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance’s center based orientation. She is married with 2 children of her own and has a passion for the care and development of young children.

About Our Owner

Nichole Ringer has an enormous passion for the development and education of children. She has taught at several child care centers over her 22 year career. Throughout her career, Nichole has learned what qualities are needed to make a childcare center exceptional. It has always been her dream to own and operate her own center in which she can use her passion, experience, and creative ideas to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can thrive
